Setting/Sept questions
Mother Larissa was pretty old in 1994; is she still clinging to life like a tough old Rat, or has she finally rejoined Gaia?
Glass Walkers and Stargazers are unavailable to PCs; presumably the Stargazers have taken up the Beast Courts' offer and left, but does this mean those two tribes are no longer represented in the Sept?
Was the Perfect Metis ever born?

Re: Setting/Sept questions
She's still around, though not as prominent in Sept affairs.
Stargazers are not represented in the Sept, as they've withdrawn from the Garou Nation as of 2000.
Glass Walkers *are* in the Sept, but their interests are often hostile to the rest of the Garou Nation's. As it has been since the Dark Ages, there's a suspicion that they serve the Weaver against Gaia.
The Perfect Metis is part of the Apocalypse arc (more or less) so no, there was no Perfect Metis born... that anyone knows of.
UPDATE: Added those notes to the Setting Notes.

Re: Setting/Sept questions
Less a question and more a comment, but I've always figured that Lupus Garou would view Hispo as more of their "war form", used for battle (Hispo and Crinos have the same number of bonus dots, just differ slightly in where they go) while Crinos was for ritual, those rare times they need hands, and for scaring humans.
So even if everyone else disagrees with me, that's how Black-Fur's going to play it.

Re: Setting/Sept questions
That is definitely a valid interpretation. On the other hand, one could argue that Homids naturally display more warlike tendencies than Lupus, and the closer one comes to that form without giving up physical advantages, the more prepared for war one is.
Ultimately, I suppose it comes down to the individual Garou.

Re: Setting/Sept questions
In some of the stories, they suggest that the Talons, at least, favor Hispo.
Yeah, it depends on the individual Garou, but also on the situation. Hispo's great if you need to clear ground fast, or chase down a Pentex 4x4 in the backwoods, or dodge a lot of oncoming attacks. Crinos has more raw power... and if First Teams are shooting at you from high windows, you can use a bow or throw a motorcycle at them.
